PROFILE


Shannon Brady is an illustrator based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. His job history has included the refilling of gum ball machines to teaching English in Vietnam. Currently he is working as a freelance illustrator and artist.

From Kathmandu to Timbuktu, Shannon's quest for a set of rose colored glasses has taken him to the ends of the earth. Along the way his mind has tried to wrap itself around the multitude of visual experiences and incorporate them into his art.

His work was Chosen by American Illustration XXIV and Selected by American Illustration XXV which can be seen in the printed Annual. Most recently, he was chosen by Black Book as one of this years "RAW 50" and his work was selected by The Society of Illustrators which will appear in there upcoming 50th Annual and on display at the Museum for American illustration.
